Those kids of mine, and Missy’s have been reproducing. We have now been re-named to help the grandkids. My Mom has also been renamed. Great Grandma is now “GG”. One of the grandkids goes by “KK”. That was, I think, how this started. Now Missy is using “GM”, for Grandma Missy, but she’s claiming it also puts her in charge as General Manager. I have decided I can live with that as “GT”, can serve Grandpa Ted, as well as establish my next appropriate acquisition. I could probably settle for slightly less than a GT40. Do you suppose they would accept my first-born as payment? Surely his wife and 6 kids would support my NEED for speed. […]
In the movie Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, a non-political protagonist ended up with a congressional seat and attacked the entrenched perverse power. The popularity of that movie was due to widespread knowledge that little good comes out of those seats of power. Moreover, most people feel that good people go to Washington and inevitably, universally, catch “Potomac Fever”, which is the love and abuse of power. Ron Paul is the exception that proves the rule. His long career in Congress, multiple presidential runs, huge popularity with Libertarians and reputation of voting NO on nearly every bill because they were unconstitutional make him stand out as unique among his peers. The Future of Freedom Foundation published an interview with Ron […]
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference. I am real strong on the courage part, but do seem to need constant work on the other two. I am working on them this month. – Ted
Yesterday I finished reading Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World (1932). A climactic scene had “the savage” free a group of Deltas, who had from before birth been designed and raised to be happy in their vassalage. It didn’t work. They preferred their state-assigned jobs and state-issued hallucinogen, soma. I empathize with the savage. Perhaps The Controller is correct. I need to reread his explanation of why the quiet of servitude in the brave new world is superior to the tumult of liberty to really appreciate the perspective. I know that is not for me, but believe it is good for me to understand why it works for so many; for the vast majority; for the masses. Unfortunately it is […]
Shortly after the turn of the century, I went searching for an affordable turntable. I had a modest-sized, high-quality collection of vinyl LPs, many of which I longed to hear. I purchased a BIG old-school stereo system from a retired couple who “upgraded” to a modern surround sound … for less than the price of a turntable! It included four two-and-a-half-foot-tall speakers, two of which were HEAVY Yamahas, a 400-watt amplifier capable of driving all four, twin-cassette recorder/player, 5-CD changer, AM/FM receiver, 5-channel equalizer and the all important Pioneer direct-drive turntable. Just before our 2013 move to The Bitterroot was the last time I heard the big stereo play. Tuesday a friend helped me get it going, but pointed out […]
In the all important metric of campaign dollars spent for every vote earned, I seriously kicked butt! Dunlap $0.07 per vote Bullock $12.98 per vote Gianforte $33.49 per vote. Greg spent $7,271,672 to win 220,142 votes. Steve spent $3,014,517 to win 232,316 votes. I spent $1,085 to win 15,649 votes. . In another important area, I landed in the company of the largest group this election. As you can see in the chart to the left, far more adults in Montana did not vote for either the Republican or the Democrat candidate for governor. Of the 902,797 Montanans 18 and over, 450,339 did not vote for Greg or Steve. See how popular that option was. In round numbers, that […]
It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything. – Joseph Stalin I have published extensively at Ted Dunlap .net, Idaho Liberty .com and Bitterroot Bugle .com about the Rothschilds and the Bilderberg Group. I am not bothering to repeat that here, other than to mention that there is a one world government, and that it is run by a crime family and syndicate of scope and scale that is unimaginable to most people, But Not All! The number, or percentage of people who do know this varies with regions. Rural Montana, Idaho and huge patches of The Great Northwest are definitely […]
I have been striving for inner peace in a world where the majority rules – more accurately, the psychopaths rule while the majority cheers them on – and the majority is ignorant, complacent, misinformed … fat, dumb and happy. And this is no small majority. The Natural Man looking for an answer finds that a purge, a die off must occur. The breadth of this, the reality of the scope is awesome; often overpowering. For the last week or two I have been working more for inner peace than saving the world. Not that I stopped wishing to save the world, just that I have to admit I cannot succeed. The only choice remaining is to accept that. The […]
