note to self

goodbye All Natural

It has probably been a couple of decades since I made my own ice cream. Cuz I’m like this, I calculated the cost and compared the ingredients, finding the Breyers listed the same ingredients and beat the price of my raw materials alone. Considering the significant time commitment in buying fresh ingredients, cranking the ice cream and clean-up, I have been buying from Breyers ever since. Somewhere around the time I grew up (I was 27), I began to concern myself more with what I and my family were ingesting. Ingredient reading has been with me ever since. This semi-literate method of food selection removes well over half the normal grocery store products from consideration. We feel better about what […]

reliable news

It is eating at me that mainstream mythology, the propaganda propagators have such a large audience. Even people who grok much of the political climate still find themselves allowing the liars into their living room, and into their brains. Just say NO. Take a month off. Use the sources listed and linked below for a month. When you return, you will see clearly what you couldn’t see before you left. You are likely to head right back out the door to never return. Vote with your feet. Take away their power one brain at a time, starting with yours. Since it is my article, I’ll start off with my websites, then move into my favorites from there in no particular […]

This arrived in my e-mail today. I thought it was worth sharing. While written for Libertarians, it could be any of us who try to awaken the populace to the hazards of growing government. A government strong enough to give you what you want will take all you have. A Libertarian’s New Year’s Resolutions – 1998 by Harry Browne I resolve to sell liberty by appealing to the self-interest of each prospect, rather than preaching to people and expecting them to suddenly adopt my ideas of right and wrong. I resolve to keep from being drawn into arguments or debates. My purpose is to inspire people to want liberty — not to prove that they’re wrong. I resolve to listen […]

elephant sneaking up on us

It can be frustrating, trying to get people to prepare for civil unrest and disasters that leave our neighborhoods vulnerable to the lawless of one stripe or another. Why is it so unpopular to plan futher ahead than what’s for lunch today? The threats are so ominous and obvious to me, yet for the vast majority, an elephant is sneaking up on them. They will soon be surprised and shocked. Where did that come from??? Nobody could have seen that coming!!! Well, not true at all Kemosabe. The plotters, schemers and tyrants did everything but put it on your big screen TV. Heck, they even did that, but told you it was Spumoni ice cream and you believed their words […]

Merry Christmas, you are in a war zone

I promised myself I would take the day off from fighting. I even thought I would take a day off from technology – not even turn on my computer or access the Internet. But the moment I broke the latter, the former was brought to me. The enemy did not take a day off. They refused to honor the holiday. Thus, if you want a day off from ugliness, don’t read this. Have a Merry Christmas.Enjoy the family, friends and a wonderful day off from it all. Put this aside until tomorrow, along with all of your news sources. But if you can’t resist any of it, look here too. I just published a set of three articles that are […]

Sandy Hook vs journalism

When I learned the fundamentals of journalism, they were: Who, What, When, Where, How and Why. They also included a foundation of reliability, accuracy and honesty, without which you earn no audience. Sadly things have changed. With the consolidation of mainstream media into six mega-corporations, the absence of competition in primary news sources allows the same misinformation to come from all six sources, reinforcing their illusion of fact. With all six CEOs quite publicly part of The Bilderberg Group, there is precious little doubt whose “facts” are being reinforced. The hot topic of the day is a perfect example, and a perfect opportunity to test your news sources. If they are not showing the truth on the Sandy Hook school […]

gun control works … for some people

For this message I’m going to let the pictures do the talking. The people of these countries, the families, friends and neighbors discussed gun control. There were simply more people willing to accept disarmament and trust their government than there people who didn’t. In every case, the government had to have a monopoly on guns, that is long guns, rifles, current-technology military-style weapons, BEFORE they could accomplish their real agenda. This debate may seem unimportant or about a handful of hunters wanting to pursue a passtime others deem barbaric. It is not. It is a life and death struggle between those who don’t respect others and those who do. Make sure the owners of the mass communication tools do not […]

handgun coaching

Last night I had one returning handgun student and two new ones. I asked the one if he had been practicing his hand positioning. “A little. Not enough.” He keeps wanting to put his off thumb across the back of the gun instead of safely on top of the shooting thumb. I had to watch like a mother hen and constantly remind him throughout our first session. “Don’t forget! I don’t want you hurt.” I helped his wife get started. Even with a hammerless revolver, I insist on proper hand position. You are likely to use a semi-auto someday. About that time, her husband comes over to show me his bleeding thumb. “I won’t forget now.” I believe him on […]

stinking up the airwaves

Smelling exactly like many other false flag events created to gain popular acceptance of their agenda, the Connecticutt school shooting facts coming from non-mainstream sources vary dramatically from what the television is feeding its audience. Police radio broadcasts said they caught one gunman escaping into the woods and had another face down, cuffed in the parking lot. Students and faculty saw and heard multiple shooters and shooters with rifles. The “lone killer” had a handgun in each hand and a rifle in his car. As Paul Craig Roberts writes: … the accused dead gunman, whom no one can interrogate, if he is indeed the culprit, killed the children with handguns, not with an “assault rifle” left in the car, but […]

beautiful music

Something truly beautiful arrived via e-mail today. A wonderful story of turning cast-offs into beauty. It is masterfully told in a warm, touching 12-minute You Tube video: Landfill Harmonic. [jwplayer mediaid=”1360″] (holey mackerel! I have just tripped over the embedded video feature in my blogging software. Look out world!)

the fiscal cliff is NOT news

If what passes for knowledge comes from mainstream news, you might think a “fiscal cliff” has suddenly appeared in front of the world economy. You may believe the “experts” discovering it and the politicians claiming to do something about it. * smoke * * mirrors * * obfuscation * (putting it as politely as possible) The people who want the world economy to break that they may own it all have been working towards this moment for GENERATIONS. This did not sneak up on us or them. This is not an accident. This is NOT NEWS. The solutions they pretend to offer via their hired media and politicians ARE part of the plan. I started publishing about it in September […]
