Cause of death statistics – Hint, guns not in top 10

The statistics below and to the right are occasionally compiled. I carried one such list on a card in my wallet for a decade. The numbers ebb and flow year-to-year, but their position on the causes of death list rarely move much. There are 32,000 gun related deaths per year by firearms. The U.S. population is 324,000,000. Thus: 0.00987% of the population dies from gun related actions each year. -80% are through criminal activity, gang and drug-trade related This is one cost of “our” war on non-prescription drugs. -60% of those deaths are by suicide A similar per-capita rate to non-gun-owning countries. -8% are by police. -3% are accidental discharge deaths. Look at how those deaths distribute across the nation: […]

poking Big Brother in the eyes

THEY can access every part of your computer, your cell phone and your smart appliances. THEY can turn them on even when you have turned those appliances off. THEY monitor, collect and store every bit of electronic traffic coming to or from you. Amendment IV The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. Of course “the founding fathers” did not anticipate personal computers, e-mails and cell phones. Therefore invading our privacies on those was […]

resisting the all-seeing-eye

This came as a newsletter from the search engine I have been using for quite a while. I highly recommend duckduckgo for all your websearches. They have even more suggestions for ducking, at least a little bit, the Surveillance State. -Ted How to Live Without Google Remove Google from your life? Yes, it can be done! Google trackers have been found on 75% of the top million websites. This means they are not only tracking what you search for, they’re also tracking which websites you visit, and using all your data for ads that follow you around the internet. Your personal data can also be subpoenaed by lawyers, including for civil cases like divorce. Google answered over 100,000 such […]

Tor – what for?

Wondoze Exploder is still the big dog in Internet browsing tools. Mozilla Firefox escapes some of its more onerous aspects, and is a strong second. Firefox adds a modicum of resistance to The Great Database accumulating everything there is to know about everybody they wish to control – roughly everybody. The best computer brains on the planet include many who are less than in love with Big Brother. They are freedom of thought’s friends. Somewhere much lower on that food chain are those who have sold their souls to The Man … the programming prostitutes. Fortunately, the A team is on our side. You do, of course, have to do your part. That brings me back to Internet browsing… and […]

stupid smart phones

I was going along with cell phone evolution for a while. I wised-up about the time they started with the “smart phone” moniker. Privacy and health concerns are enough to put me off that feed. I share a couple of recent articles below touching on some of those concerns with current knowledge. First off, I will resist the constant monitoring by Big Brother as well as I conveniently can. I phrase it that way as I recognize The Deep State is a pervasive, cancerous growth in our world. Escape is possible, but requires focus, dedication and abandonment of too many modern conveniences. My attempt at balance dictates resistance, avoidance and fershur I will not facilitate Big Brother’s snooping. That […]

who is a fascist?

People are jumping up and calling our government “FASCIST” now. That is good news. Recognizing it is the first step in resisting, and possibly restoring liberty. I welcome them to our side. Of course they are a wee bit late to the party. The new administration did not implement fascism in its first week. Fascism was established by the prior administration, and the one before that, and the one before that, and the one before that … I wrote and published this in IdahoLiberty.com 6 1/2 years ago. Who’s a Fascist? “…That is what FASCISM means. Perhaps it is okay. Maybe I should say that most of us obviously think it okay to live, but uncomfortable to admit to. Nevertheless, […]

implementing 4th Amendment

USofA Constitution, Amendment IV The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. Of course these protections are long gone. (Sorry Ben) Warrantless searches of homes, often by violent teams of men above the law number in the thousands every year, and continue to rise. Heavily armed checkpoints on public roads are regularly set up with forced medical investigation of bodies as well as searches of travelers’ vehicles. Phone calls and correspondence are nearly 100% […]

shrugging

I have been striving for inner peace in a world where the majority rules – more accurately, the psychopaths rule while the majority cheers them on – and the majority is ignorant, complacent, misinformed … fat, dumb and happy. And this is no small majority. The Natural Man looking for an answer finds that a purge, a die off must occur. The breadth of this, the reality of the scope is awesome; often overpowering. For the last week or two I have been working more for inner peace than saving the world. Not that I stopped wishing to save the world, just that I have to admit I cannot succeed. The only choice remaining is to accept that. The […]
